We would like to introduce ourselves as a group of professional, dynamic and committed entrepreneurs involved in the quarrying, processing and exporting of Egyptian Marble and Granite in every conceivable form available. Since our inception in 2003 and with hundreds of projects successfully supplied globally, our clients benefit from the vast experience and expertise we have gained from each project and continuously grow, along with our passion and familiarity with natural stone.
Our factory now makes available natural and processed materials in Granite - Marbles in the shape of tiles, slabs or blocks in finished and semi finished as per architectural requirement and specifications, to enable you to create sophisticated, modern interiors or exteriors because we are not just a stone supplier but we can technically interact for your specific requirement to better serve our current client's needs and develop new and mutually profitable relationships.
We operate our own and tied up Quarries located in Sinai and Upper Egypt. Qualified personnel and machinery optimize our quarry yield. Our quarry production is taken up for export of rough blocks and also for slabs and tiles of desired size and thickness. Additionally, our quarrying teams are always on the search for discovering new and exciting natural materials for our clients and we continually consult with expert geologists and conduct comprehensive quarry planning to foster extraction in a manner that is both cost effective and environmentally responsible.
Progress for Marble & Granite produce and supply different types of blocks and we are trying to improve the resistance and strength of natural stones. The raw marble blocks received at our factory are unloaded in the gantry yard with the help of Gantry Cranes.
The dressing machine operator dresses the marble block from all the sides for removal of natural defects, the blocks are reinforced with fiber glass net and a binding agent. Usually for sides of the block are reinforced. The block is then left for about 24 hours for curing. This process also ensures minimum breakage of slabs during the sawing process.
For slab polishing, we have invested in two complete lines for granite and one for marble. To guarantee premium quality, we procure the highest quality resins from our suppliers including epoxy, polyester and UV resins as well as an "Anti-Salt" treatment to counter the salt emissions of some stones. Because of our depth of experience, we have developed the know-how of resin application necessary to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality slabs.
Slabs are carefully packed in automatic plastic separator and then packed in wooden bundles or A-steel frames.
With an array of the latest technology and highest quality chemicals, we produce premium quality tiles ready for installation. With two complete lines for tile processing, fully automated epoxy resin ovens and UV furnaces, we guarantee tile quality in accuracy of shape, flatness and thickness tolerances. Post production, we separate tiles according to their color and conduct a crate-by-crate inspection and packing.
Tiles are packed uniformly in wooden crates. For 1 cm thickness, tiles are first packed into styrofoam boxes then loaded into crates. The tiles are wrapped in plastic sheets and placed with the polished sides facing each other to protect against scratching and to ensure a glossy luster upon arrival to our customer.
Progress for Marble & Granite has always been aware about the treatment and the quality control. Our machines are equipped to apply the necessary resins including Epoxy, Polyester and UV. Following resin application, our competitive edge is the Anti-Salt treatment we can provide on materials to prevent salt emissions in the last production stage before packing. Our factory is also applying repair of fractures and drying conducted by elevator ovens.
Stone product surface can be finished by different ways according to different application, such as Polished, Unpolished, Honed, Antique, Bush-Hammered, Brushed, Flamed, Split-face, Tumbled, Natural Cleft, Vintage, Sandblasted, Leatherhead and Rigato. For the finishing of all of our forms, we are carefully measuring the degree of polish, checking the uniformity of finish application and also ensuring uniform texture.
We employ safe packing practices with strong quality control. Each crate and bundle must be inspected and pass quality benchmarks before any material can be loaded. Slabs can either be placed into wooden bundles or lashed on steel A-frames depending on customer preferences.
Using the Italian Technology, we have one complete Line Barsanti including Polishing line 12 head & Polishing Line 5 head.
To saw blocks into slabs, we have Four Gang Saws 80 blades, Two Gaspari Menotti, One Barsanti & One Tema Frugolli.
